High School Guidance

St. Catherine of Siena has an outstanding reputation for preparing its graduates to thrive in high school. Our graduates are accepted to a wide variety of educational institutions throughout the Bay Area.

Each eighth grade family receives personalized high school guidance led by the eighth grade teacher. Parents attend a preparation for high school meeting at the beginning of the school year and conferences are conducted with parents, students, and teachers to assist in the decision making and application process. Students are encouraged to explore the high schools through their shadow programs.

In addition, test preparation, critical analysis, and writing skills are regularly incorporated into all academic subjects. St. Catherine of Siena graduates regularly place into advanced and honors level courses in their respective college preparatory programs.

St. Catherine of Siena alumni consistently distinguish themselves within their secondary school communities as true Christians, innovative learners, goals setters and achievers, effective communicators, and responsible citizens.
